About
Hi, friend! ☺ My name is Tonichi Acenas, and Okay Good Studio is my creative practice based in Manila, Philippines. As an interdisciplinary creative for 10 years, my focus is on fusing design, photography, and art direction to create a holistic brand experience for your dream business — the kind that your customers connect with on another level.
When I’m not working, I’m passionate about all things culture, designing systems around my habits, dancing, making mini films of ordinary days, and really cool chairs. Currently learning Webflow.
➀ Where I’m from
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts from the School of Design & Arts, at De La Salle College of St. Benilde in Manila, Philippines. This is where I dove headfirst into all the creative disciplines I could get my hands on, and was nominated for Best Graphic Designer & Best Web Designer for the MMA Awards, for 2 consecutive years. This foundation laid the groundwork for my being a highly specialized generalist.
➁ What I Do
Currently, I’m the creative lead at a startup where I wear many hats, working on design, photography, art direction — sometimes all at once.
Previously, I worked as an art director for several years at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, a multi-awarded advertising agency, where I worked with brands like Toyota, SM, Olay, and Safeguard.
In between, I take on freelance projects for:
→ Product & Concept Photography
→ Brand Strategy & Identity Design
→ Graphic Design, Packaging & Print Design
➂ How I Work
Thinking first, doing second.
My best work comes from projects where I help founders design the entire brand experience holistically — taking an idea and making it into something real and tangible. From crafting the brand’s strategy, concept/direction, brand identity to photography, socials, and beyond — this is where I can provide the most value.
Focusing on an interdisciplinary approach has put me in a unique position where I can help provide a cohesive visual language that embodies your vision.

Every project is different, and I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach. Pricing varies depending on a number of factors, including the scope of work, the complexity of the project, the timeline, and more.
Please let us know the specifics and we’d be happy to give a custom quote that’s tailored to your needs.

I love this question, because it’s a name that has a story. To share a little insight: If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my lifelong journey of creativity, it’s this:
Perfection is a myth.
Perfect implies a static endpoint, the ultimate state of being.
But to be creative is to explore, to be open to new possibilities, to stay curious. Kids intuitively know this, and they’re the most creative people on this planet, completely unfazed by the notion of perfection.
At Okay Good Studio, I wanted to embrace this ethos wholeheartedly.
To celebrate progress over perfection.
To trust the process, and make something good.
